OUR APPROACHA study published by Brinson, Singer and Beebower in 1991 (and expanded in 1993) determined that portfolio asset allocation is the most important factor impacting long-term investment results. The study found that past performance, stock selection and timing investments in and out of the market were far less influential in achieving long-term results than asset allocation. This explains are emphasis on approaching each investor with a long-term relationship in mind. Building those relationships begins with understanding the importance of asset allocation in the investment process and developing a strategy based on each investor's unique objectives. Consistently providing a high standard of service with constant portfolio monitoring and communication is how we see the process through. |
